There’s more to the gym than weights and treadmills.
All of our classes and programs are expertly guided to give you a moderate workout that benefits both mind and body. Expect to leave your session feeling relaxed and invigorated!
The Reformer is a versatile piece of resistance exercise equipment designed by Joseph Pilates to promote length, strength, flexibility, and balance. It consists of a platform that moves back and forth along a carriage. Resistance is provided by the exerciser’s body weight and by springs attached to the carriage and platform. In addition to providing finely-tuned exercise resistance, the Reformer also offers support and assistance. This fact is particularly helpful for beginners. Sportsclub’s Reformer program is offered at an additional fee in both one-on-one and group format. Each session is taught by one of our Certified Reformer Instructors.
Our Reformer Instructors are dedicated and driven to provide you with the most challenging and personalized workout. We are focused on helping you achieve your fitness goals. Each session is crafted to deliver optimal results and fit your day-to-day activities so you can feel confident, capable, and excited to add movement to your life.

Raisedbarre™, the premier pre-choreographed barre program, proudly finds its home at all three Sportsclub locations. Owned by three of Sportsclub’s own, Laurie Greenway, Michelle Cofer, and Ben Robinson, Raisedbarre™ is growing quickly. The Raisedbarre™ choreography that begins inside Sportsclub is now being taught by instructors in eight states spanning from California to Vermont. Raisedbarre™ is designed for all fitness levels and is a fun and energetic class set to great music! Come see how Raisedbarre™ puts an athletic twist on classic barre movement by checking the Group Fitness schedules at both Sportsclub Greenville and Sportsclub Express and find out more about Raisedbarre™ at www.raisedbarre.com.
Why Raisedbarre™? Consistency among instructors, fresh content to keep members engaged, camaraderie and social engagement as part of the rbNation.
Do you need equipment? It could change from release to release, but typically the program entails balls, barres, small weights, and resistance bands. Raisedbarre™ barres are sturdy yet portable.
What do I wear to a Raisedbarre™ class? If you are comfortable in capris or legging, it is easier for participants to see the instructors’ movement and for an instructor to see the participants’ technique. Certainly not a requirement.
Socks or no socks? We vote socks but again – not a requirement. Why socks? Better awareness of the foot placement and protects the base of the foot.
